This shop is really tidy, but I do fancy it was a bit more spacious! They've got a solid selection of live critters and dry goods. Loads of rarer and peculiar fish, not just your run-of-the-mill types. Definitely the top spot in the Lothians. Once you locate it, getting there is a breeze. Decent parking and staff that are dead friendly and helpful, always on point with their queries. Cheers!

I've visited this aquarium shop a couple of times now, and like everyone else here, I have to say the customer service is absolutely top-notch. The folks working here really know their stuff when it comes to fish, and it shows in the way they set up their tanks. The fish are grouped together based on compatibility and specific requirements. For example, I recently got some stunning Chocolate Gouramis from them, and the tank they were in was beautifully set up with lots of plants, stained tannin water, and gentle flow to replicate their natural environment. As someone who has owned these sensitive fish before, it was such a relief to see them being cared for so well and meeting their needs.
I preordered the fish, and even though I was eager to get them home, David insisted that they complete their quarantine period. This just goes to show the high standards and ethics of the team and the quality assurance you can expect from them.
I can't recommend this place highly enough. They have a huge selection of livestock, high-quality fish, and their customer service is truly five-star. I just wish I lived next door! I've attached a picture of my lovely chocolate gouramis in their blackwater setup, just like how I remember seeing them back in Malaysia years ago.

This is my go-to spot for shrimp. The staff is very knowledgeable and the layout is well-organized, always clean with all the fish in top-notch condition. They even carry some unique species that you won't come across in any of the big chain stores. A hidden gem for sure!

Fantastic aquarium store, with a wide variety of fish species to choose from. They even carry some more exotic aquatic pets at times. The staff's expertise is top-notch – whenever I visit, they patiently explain and offer advice on each fish or item I'm interested in purchasing. It's worth the long journey of over an hour just for the reassurance that I'm getting the right fish for my setup. Highly recommend this shop for all your aquarium needs!

What a charming aquarium shop! The tanks were spotless and the staff were delightful, incredibly knowledgeable. I observed them testing customers' water and recommending against purchasing fish if the tank wasn't properly cycled, which was really commendable. Many others would simply take the sale, but not these guys. The prices of the fish were the most affordable I've seen in quite some time. I particularly appreciated their stance against recommending plecos and other large fish for small tanks. The only minor issue I would note (though I doubt it's the shop's fault) is that when I Googled "Marine fish shops," I was expecting saltwater fish, but there weren't any available. Nevertheless, they had a great variety of plants, live food, and accessories. I will definitely be returning and recommending this shop to others. It's tucked away at the end of the garden centre, but well worth the visit.

Terrific aquarium emporium! I've been caring for freshwater tropicals for donkey's years. I've acquired diverse fish from this establishment, and all have thrived swimmingly. Fab assortment of dry goods at competitive prices. The staff is well-versed in their trade. I'd highly recommend it.

Incredible store, tucked away at the rear of the garden center. Stocks all the essentials for your aquarium at fantastic prices. The staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The range of products available is simply marvelous. The fish selection is truly out of this world. The displays are top-notch, making it easy to view and choose the perfect fish for your tank.
