This beach is absolutely fantastic, mate. The dunes are dotted with remnants of WW2 defenses, which really adds to the charm. It's truly magical, especially when the light hits just right. I always have a jolly good time whenever I come here. Just remember to pack some warm clothes, as it can get a bit chilly. Cheers!

There's a charming cafe located right in the car park offering outdoor seating, open throughout the summer and autumn seasons, even providing water bowls for our furry companions. Nathan Howard (16/05/2025, 02:57):
Oh mate, Balmedie Beach is an absolute stunner with its miles of sandy shores. Went there in October and it was so peaceful, hardly a soul in sight. The sea was as calm as can be, dotted with ships and fishing boats. Ended up dozing off on those grassy dunes, only got a couple of snaps before it got dark. One of those places you just don't want to leave, you know?
