Absolutely adore this spot, a treasure trove of goodies for all! For those seeking a unique find, I highly suggest exploring this gem. It's a haven for one-of-a-kind gifts and delightful keepsakes. 💕
We popped in for a spot of lunch on our way back from a jaunt up north. The eatery was bustling, but the line moved swiftly thanks to the cheery, efficient, and hard-working crew.
The grub was hearty and delectable, with hefty portions to boot. We opted for the Macaroni Cheese and the Steak and Ale Pie.
Alas, we came across a bit of cardboard, or perhaps very thick paper, nestled within the Steak and Ale Pie, which was a rather unwelcome surprise during mastication. After removing this foreign object and thoroughly inspecting the rest of the dish, it appeared to be an isolated incident.
Once we'd polished off our victuals, I brought this matter to the attention of the waiting staff, who were quick to apologize and promised to alert the kitchen team in case other servings harbored similar surprises.
All in all, it was a pleasant luncheon with top-notch personnel and a prime location. It was just a shame to stumble upon the cardboard in our meal, though I reckon such blunders are probably few and far between.
Oh, terribly busy and terribly expensive, I must say. The grub just wasn't up to scratch for the hefty price tag, and that so-called 'Aberdeen Angus Burger' clearly had a frosty past. Quite underwhelming, really. Hard to believe it's still a hit.
House of Bruar is a charming spot with a well-thought-out design. The quaint outdoor market at the entrance creates a delightful atmosphere. The merchandise at Bruar is of exceptional quality.
The restaurant offers top-notch cuisine and the team provides excellent customer service.
There is a little something for everyone at this place, definitely worth a visit.
What a delightful spot in a charming environment with stunning vistas of the countryside and the trek to the waterfalls is absolutely splendid. There's a plethora of diverse shopping options available, albeit leaning towards the upscale and pricey side, but every now and then you can stumble upon a true steal. They even boast a sophisticated 'specialized stalking' department, complete with a few taxidermy foxes for those who fancy such curiosities.
Was not expecting to spend 3 hours in this place and drop £400, but wow, this place is absolutely amazing. The food court, bathrooms, café, men's and women's clothing are top-notch. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially the older gentleman in the art gallery section who took the time to chat with us about the artwork "Brownies on the Fly" by Sam MacDonald. I believe his name was Duncan. The Christmas shop was delightful too!
Lovely peaceful beach setting. Our four-legged friends thoroughly enjoyed frolicking in the waves, couldn't keep 'em out of the water!
This department store is a massive place with tons of shopping options for those with a bit of cash to splash. We recently popped in for a scrumptious coffee and cake, which hit the spot just right. The free parking is definitely a bonus, making it a convenient pit stop as you cruise down the A9.
Stumbled upon this gem while in need of a caffeine fix. What a delightful find with a plethora of options. Treated the missus to a gorgeous neck scarf and picked up some biscuits too. Definitely a must-visit. The place exudes luxury and the atmosphere is charming. Already planning my next visit when heading up north.
Lovely establishment to explore with ample parking and an array of delightful shops and businesses within the premises. The surroundings are just stunning, with serene rivers and picturesque waterfalls adding to the charm. A must-visit destination for a delightful day out!
This department store is simply the bee's knees for all things Scottish - from clothing to art, antiques, and a selection of top-notch cafés and restaurants. A day can easily be whiled away exploring all it has to offer. We certainly did!
I must say, the staff, store, clothing and home departments, restrooms, and individual shops are top-notch. However, I must express my disappointment with the quality of the food in your restaurant. By the time I waited in line to receive my hot drink, my meal had gone cold! The scones were bland and hard. I anticipate a higher standard when dining at this esteemed establishment!
What a fantastic company to shop online with! The customer service team is incredibly professional, especially Julie who is always so helpful. Their website is absolutely fabulous, and I can't wait to check out their store on my next trip to Edinburgh. I would highly recommend The House of Bruar, they are simply amazing! ✨
We make the journey up and down the A9 every 4 weeks to visit family in Inverness. We always make a pit stop at House of Bruar to take a break and do some shopping. While it can be on the pricey side, I believe the quality justifies the cost. My only issue is that even though they have designated dog parking spots in the shade, there isn't a space inside the restaurant where we can dine with our furry companions. This means we don't eat there as often as we'd like. Given that many travelers with dogs stop by and you often see pooches outside, it would be wonderful if there was a dedicated dog-friendly area within the restaurant, especially with the presence of some wild birds in the vicinity.
Absolutely fantastic food and top-notch customer service. The stores are also fabulous, with a great selection.
What a jolly shopping and dining adventure! We stumbled upon this delightful department store on our way to Pitlochry and decided to pop in to see what all the commotion was about. The displays were simply stunning, showcasing high-quality items. And let's not forget about the entertaining chap selling fish and chips - quite the character! His food was rather tasty as well. Cheers to unexpected discoveries like this!
If you happen to be passing through or in the vicinity, do make a stop and explore all that this destination has to offer. You'll find a diverse selection of outdoor attire from renowned brands such as Patagonia, Barbour, North Face, and more! The food hall is equally impressive with its abundant array of quality products sourced locally and from across Scotland. We dined at the on-site restaurant, where we enjoyed top-notch cuisine at reasonable prices given the setting; however, the desserts left something to be desired! For whiskey enthusiasts, this place is a true gem; the most expensive bottles were priced at £24,000 each, while a collector's set fetched an impressive £60,000 for six bottles.
I placed an order for a Hydro Flask product online that was supposedly in stock. However, when I returned to the website shortly after, I noticed the item was now unavailable, which led me to believe it was because of my order. It was only six days later that I received an email informing me that the item was actually out of stock and asking how I wanted to proceed. This seemed rather odd, as they should have refunded me right away and informed me accordingly. Nevertheless, once I requested a refund, they promptly processed it. Based on the experiences of other customers, it seems like their online services are quite lacking. This transaction will be my one and only with this retailer.
Absolutely brilliant for a day out. The food is top-notch, conveniently located off the A9. Make sure to bring plenty of cash if you plan on splurging, but there are also some great deals to be found. It's the perfect spot to pick up a special gift for your loved one, with a wide range of products from luxury clothing to beautiful garden decorations. Don't forget to make it a yearly tradition to visit and check out their online sales too.
