The store is a bit more organized than we prefer. The previous store had a more relaxed vibe. Nonetheless, it offers a wide range of practical items. It's a great place if you're looking for home, garden, or workwear.
We thoroughly enjoyed the café. The young lady serving us was efficient and friendly. She always had a smile on her face and engaged in conversation with us. Her positive energy was contagious. I tried the steak pie, and it was delicious - piping hot with excellent flavor. The price for our meal (four dishes, four drinks) was reasonable. The treats we purchased to enjoy at home with a cup of tea were also delightful. We would definitely return.

I did visit this discount store and I must say, I found the food options to be quite limited, especially for those of us who follow a plant-based diet. Out of all the meals on the menu, only one was vegan - the soup of the day. And even then, it may not be available every day. While the soup was tasty and the service was excellent, I do hope they can expand their menu to offer more plant-based options. With the rising interest in plant-based diets, it would be beneficial for them to cater to this growing market. I might not return until they improve their options.

Well, I popped out for brekkie and a gander at some Christmas trinkets. The brekkie was passable, though the bacon was a tad too underdone for my liking - gladly swapped the black pudding for something different. As for the decorations, well, turns out I snagged 4 carrier bags full and ended up £150 lighter! And because those cakes were so tempting at brekkie, we found ourselves at the restaurant come lunchtime. The staff there are just delightful - ever so helpful and friendly.

Discovered by pure chance, this hidden gem is tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Despite its name, one might mistake it for just another touristy leather goods store. However, surprise awaits as you step inside – the upper floor houses a wonderful restaurant/café offering breathtaking views, while downstairs is a vast emporium stocked with everything from groceries to outdoor gear and clothing. Aside from the shopping bags seen at the checkout, there was no blatant branding or promotion. This massive establishment remains a well-kept secret, and we wouldn't have stumbled upon it if not for the public car park outside.

The grub was top-notch, mate! Had meself a crackin' beef pie with chips and veg, while the ol' hubby went for some scampi. The cafe was spotless and the nosh was cooked fresh as a daisy. That beef pie was chock-full of tasty meat, and the scampi portion was massive. Place was buzzin' busy, they handed us a buzzer and we had a gander 'round the shop for a quarter-hour.

This Discount store used to be top-notch, mate. I could always find bigger sizes there, but lately they're as rare as hen's teeth. The cafe might seem fancy, but when we popped in for a brew, we were told it was too early for a sarnie. I was equally impressed by the store, as it had a wide variety of items for sale including tools, home decor, clothing, and even Christmas decorations – you name it, they had it.
