I absolutely love visiting the Discount Store for art supplies! They always have a wide selection of Brunel Franklin products, which are top-notch. I recently purchased 25 fantastic brushes from B&M for only 3.99! Occasionally, you may come across some items that appear a bit cheap, but it's a rare occurrence.

I came to head to the store, according to the website it says it's open till 11pm. I arrived just before closing time and found the doors were already locked. Do they close at 10pm or 11pm? It's quite confusing!

Absolutely fantastic store, apart from that one time when I almost ended up paying double for the fake grass, they wanted to charge me £900 instead of £450. Fortunately, I caught the mistake and had it sorted out. Visited the Livingston store and they got everything sorted perfectly. Highly recommend!

I must say, the store is an absolute shambles; it's a proper maze trying to locate anything you need. The employees seem to have a knack for dishing out misinformation without fail. I had to resort to phoning up other branches just to track down some wallpaper. Lo and behold, the Bathgate branch had a whopping 14 rolls of the exact paper I was after stashed away in the warehouse. However, they couldn't quite pin down whether it was the night shift or the day shift responsible for getting it onto the shelves! Sorting out this logistical nightmare really shouldn't fall on the shoulders of the customers. Needless to say, I won't be making a swift return trip to that particular store anytime soon!

Plenty of items on offer, including well-known brands at affordable prices. Occasionally, not as budget-friendly compared to other nearby stores. Ideal for grabbing miscellaneous items and finding inexpensive paint with a wide range of choices. Additionally, they have a garden center stocked with various plant varieties.

The staff are always so friendly and helpful, and they offer a wide variety of products at really affordable prices, even on popular brands. The store stays open late most evenings, which is fantastic for me since I don't get off work until later. Plus, the free car park at my nearest Bathgate location has plenty of parking spaces.

Just dropped in here and what a find! Absolutely top-notch. Deserves a solid 5-star rating without a doubt. The prices are proper cheap and it's the only spot in Bathgate where I can grab food for me pet rats, snag a bag of garden peat, and pick up a Bluetooth speaker all at once. Loads of free parking too. The folks working there are dead friendly. Hats off to you all! 👍

I popped into the Discount store to check out their bedding sales, and I must say, the encounter left much to be desired. The store manager seemed rather exasperated and huffy when I inquired about pricing. It appeared that he had been dealing with price checks all day, but his dismissive attitude was uncalled for. In the end, I decided to drop the idea of making a purchase altogether. Despite already spending over £50 at the Bathgate store today, I contemplated returning my items due to the manager's rudeness. It's safe to say that I won't be frequenting that store again anytime soon.

I popped into this store and was delighted with the wide selection of products. I snagged an amazing deal on some plants - 3 large lupin plants for just £10! They were absolutely gorgeous and clearly well looked after, much better quality than what you typically find at garden centers. The only downside during my visit was that it was a bit hard to find staff around. We only saw someone when we reached the till, and there was only one of them open. However, the staff member was efficient, though not very chatty or friendly.
