My recent visit to the Farm shop was delightful! I popped in for a spot of lunch and couldn't resist grabbing some scrumptious cheese and bread from their food store. The restaurant staff were simply marvelous - friendly, efficient, and very helpful. Our meals were served promptly, piping hot, and absolutely delicious!

A special shoutout to Heather, who took care of us at table 15. She embodied all the qualities I mentioned earlier, but with such flair that we felt like valued guests. Thank you, Heather, for your outstanding service - Balgove is lucky to have you on their team.

Will I be returning? Without a doubt! Thank you, Balgove, for a wonderful experience!👍😉

The farm shop is a tad out of the way, so having wheels is a must for the journey. It's not the easiest spot to reach via public transport, mind you. The folks working there are real friendly and the nosh is top-notch – the steak especially hits the spot. When I swung by in January 2025, the heating was doing its job just fine. The vibe of the place is solid, and they've got a decent selection of beers to boot. The facilities, like the loo, are clean as a whistle. Now, the prices might be a bit on the high side, but the meal we had was well worth it.

The individual steak and gravy pies were absolutely smashing, and the lamb shanks were simply massive! Cheers to a delightful meal at the Farm shop.
Willie Reyes (30/05/2025, 21:41):
Yummy grub at reasonable prices, and the spot is top-notch!
Catherine Wright (30/05/2025, 08:04):
Lovely grub, had to wait a tad but well worth the wait for sure
Russell Garcia (30/05/2025, 02:35):
A jolly good spot to pop into for a visit, I must say. The grub there is top-notch, especially the meats, cheeses, and veg – all locally sourced, mind you. The dining experience is quite splendid, with a charming menu, lovely seating both indoors and outdoors, and even a Steak Barn to boot. Cheers!

What a delightful farm shop! The layout is impeccable and the products on offer are simply lovely. The cafe not only serves a variety of hot and cold beverages, including wine, but also offers a fantastic selection of snacks and meals. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Ample free parking is available and the toilets are kept clean. A truly wonderful experience!

I frequent this place often, it's a brilliant farm shop with top-notch fresh produce. The butcher's area is definitely worth the investment.
I never miss having breakfast in their cafe either. Their food is absolutely delicious.
Janet Cruz (15/05/2025, 15:08):
The food and produce here are top-notch, absolutely lovely. However, there is a bit of an issue with the road leading to and from the car park. It could do with some repairs before any cars end up getting damaged. Just a little heads up for the management to look into! Cheers!
Philip Reyes (14/05/2025, 07:43):
I've popped in a fair few times with me mum and sister. The food is absolutely scrumptious and the service is top-notch. Don't forget to check out the butcher's area for a fantastic selection of meats. The Cajun chicken schnitzels are particularly delicious, you can't go wrong with those!
Aaron Roberts (14/05/2025, 07:20):
Charming surroundings adorned with snowdrops. Delectable fare, capped off with a leisurely stroll to the coast for some breathtaking vistas. Highly recommended.
Kathryn Scott (14/05/2025, 03:57):
The moment we stepped foot in this farm shop, we were absolutely blown away by the top-notch service, food, and prices. And I must say, this latest visit did not disappoint either. Each dish we ordered was simply outstanding, and the service was both welcoming and efficient. It's clear to see that their steaks are the star of the show here. The meat is of exceptional quality and cooked to absolute perfection. Even the burgers and chicken dishes were of the same high standard.
Amy Rodriguez (13/05/2025, 04:03):
This spot is a real hidden treasure just on the outskirts of town! The café serves up fantastic, fresh food and delightful drinks. There truly is something for everyone there. You simply must visit Balgove and their markets! I can't praise this place enough. The folks, the vibe. A solid 10 out of 10. See you next time!
Carolyn Morales (11/05/2025, 04:29):
What a lovely spot this is - a real foodie's paradise with a fantastic selection of mainly locally sourced produce. I hadn't visited since 2017 and it's still one of the top farm shops I've ever experienced. The quality of the food is exceptional. After filling our bags, we indulged in scones with jam and clotted cream at the café. I'm already looking forward to returning for dinner at the Steak Barn next time.
Judith Simmons (10/05/2025, 15:11):
Top notch shop, top quality produce and friendly staff. The breakfast was a tad underwhelming, but it did the job.
Peter Alexander (09/05/2025, 20:41):
Delightful luncheon, served by a cheery waitress.
Terrific pantry to peruse.
Quite bustling.
