I recently visited H.Samue at Silverburn shopping centre in Glasgow to have a ring valuation done. LORNA was absolutely wonderful. The service was exceptional, and I left with a wealth of new documentation about the ring. The staff were attentive and inspected the diamonds on the ring before sending it off for me. They checked each stone thoroughly in my presence when it was returned. I highly recommend their service, as for £60, it provides peace of mind knowing that your ring is adequately insured. It was a pleasant surprise to see that the ring's value had increased by nearly £3000 since its last valuation in 2004. I would definitely recommend them 👌

I popped into H. Samuel at Silverburn, Glasgow on two separate occasions – on 30 January and then again on 4 February – and had an experience that truly left me gobsmacked and deeply upset. Despite being a regular customer, on both visits I was unfairly accused of pilfering, booted out of the shop without any explanation or evidence, and treated with a suspicion level that was not only embarrassing but downright unprofessional.
I've never felt so mortified and discriminated against in a store. Instead of offering up some good ol' customer service, they decided to fling around false accusations and treat me with suspicion for no rhyme or reason. This whole ordeal has left me feeling on edge and deeply distressed.
If this is how they handle innocent punters, I reckon it's worth giving a second thought before splashing your cash here. I certainly won't be returning, and I hope the higher-ups take swift action to sort out this shocking behavior.
I'm sharing my tale in the hopes that it spurs some change and gives others a nudge to think about the importance of showing respect and professionalism in the retail game. No one should ever have to feel this ashamed and discriminated against while just trying to do a spot of shopping.
