I used to adore this spot, used to take the family on outings in Bo'ness and would swing by for a bite to eat! However, when I visited last week, I was incredibly let down. The new staff and altered menu have completely transformed the place, and not for the better. The food lacked freshness and fell short of the usual standards (they even served my chips directly atop my microwaved mac and cheese🤮, without a separate plate). What's more, our favorite server Phil was nowhere to be seen 😕. It's a pity as it used to be a cherished spot of ours. We won't be returning.

Absolutely fabulous pub/restaurant. The ambience is delightful, and you are warmly welcomed upon arrival. The menu boasts a delightful selection of homemade, delicious dishes at very reasonable prices. A visit here is definitely worthwhile. I would recommend making a reservation for the evening just to be safe. Give them a ring in advance to confirm. Cheers!

What a delightful dining experience for my dear mother's birthday celebration. The service was top-notch, and I must say, the steak pie was nearly as delicious as the ones my mother used to bake - and that's really saying something! 😜

I recently popped into "The Corbie Inn" during Hippfest and wasn't quite sure what to anticipate. Even though the place was bustling, the staff managed to find us a table. The food was delightful, reasonably priced, and there was a good selection of vegetarian dishes available. Despite being newcomers to the area, many of the staff were exceptionally amiable and engaging with us. I must give a shoutout to Angus, who truly went above and beyond to help out my husband and me. If we find ourselves in town again, we will certainly pay another visit. Cheers!

Great blood orange cider, fantastic gluten-free menu with a delicious gluten-free meat pie and veggie side dish. I must say, I had a divine dining experience! The staff were extremely kind, and to top it off, it's a dog-friendly place. I highly recommend it! 👍🏻☺️

I had the pleasure of attending a funeral tea this afternoon, and I must say, everything was absolutely splendid. We catered to 100 guests with our homemade steak pie, which was simply delicious. The service was top-notch as well, truly fantastic!
Mark James (24/08/2025, 15:27):
Top-notch service even with a party of 8 of us popping in for a cuppa and some scrumptious cake after a stroll. They happily provided us with extra plates and utensils, as well as a massive teapot full of perfectly brewed tea for sharing.
Furthermore, I noticed an intriguing sign in the ladies' room, advising patrons to "Ask for Annie" if they ever feel unsafe during their visit or date, promising discreet and safe assistance to exit the premises.

Beverly Brown (13/08/2025, 07:02):
A warm welcome for all, even the furry friends! The pub boasts an impressive selection of beers and spirits. The food is truly top-notch, it's no surprise they were named the best in 2023. The portions are more than generous. It would be a challenge for any restaurant to match this level of quality. The service was exceptional, never intrusive but always there when you need something.

I recently dined at the Corbie with my family and opted for the breaded Haddock as my main course. Absolutely scrumptious! It has been quite a while since I've had a non-Italian fish dish that impressed me this much. The homemade pate was also a highlight. Kudos to the Chef for a job well done.

Oh my word, what a delightful experience dining on the scrumptious homemade fare at such a reasonable rate. The staff were ever so amiable and obliging. I would most certainly suggest this establishment. For weekdays, it would be wise to make a reservation to ensure availability. Cheers!
Joe Nelson (12/08/2025, 00:31):
My inaugural visit to this establishment was quite bustling, as the staff kindly informed us that all indoor tables were reserved. Nevertheless, they accommodated us with seats outside, in a lovely little sunlit corner. Although we opted not to dine on this occasion, a quick glance at the menu revealed promising offerings at reasonable prices.
Joe Gonzales (11/08/2025, 14:02):
Lovely little inn with some cracking BBQ ribs! Generous portions and top-notch flavor. Absolutely scrumptious. Prices are fair and the staff is ever so pleasant!
Emily Bailey (11/08/2025, 03:58):
Quite a racket in there, felt like I was in the middle of a playground for tots, tables crammed together with servers squeezing past and nearly sending my drink flying, zero ambiance, tacky decor, gave me vibes of a budget wedding reception. Couldn't even hear myself think with all the noise, no chill vibes whatsoever. Reminded me more of a fast food joint than anything else.
Food was mediocre, staff weren't exactly bursting with enthusiasm or warmth, not keen on going back. Major letdown, wouldn't suggest it to anyone. Happily made my exit after a brief stint there.

We stumbled upon the Corbie Inn on a local's suggestion, nearly 2 years back during our stay in the vicinity. We were pleasantly surprised to discover an inviting, cozy establishment with ample space both indoors and outdoors - and let's not forget about the cuisine.. it offered a delightful selection of high-quality dishes.
This week, we revisited The Corbie with family and were pleased to find that the inn's quality and reliability remained unchanged. May the Corbie continue to shine, as it truly is a hidden gem of a restaurant :)

I popped into the Corbie Inn yesterday, June 23rd, and what a delightful spot it is! Their beer garden out back is a real gem, with ample parking and the owners always bustling about, tending to the lovely array of flowers. I had reserved a table for 2:00 pm and upon arrival, we opted to enjoy the warm weather outside. We were kindly asked to order and pay inside, which we did without any fuss. Once inside, we perused the menu and though I had raved about their delicious pizzas, alas, they only begin serving them at 5:00 pm (take note!). Nonetheless, the menu offered plenty of other tantalizing options, so my friend and I both went for the burgers – I selected the Highlander while my companion went for the chili burger.
We requested to sit outdoors, which was accommodated, but we had to fetch the jug with the numbered wooden spoon, condiments, and cutlery ourselves to our table. Not a major issue, but a bit more guidance to our table would have been appreciated.
Our meals arrived in good time and did not disappoint. The burgers were divine and the portions truly generous. My friend found the chili on their burger a tad too tomato sauce-y for their liking, but to each their own.
After we finished eating, we lingered for a good 45 minutes, however, our dirty plates sat in front of us as no one came by to clear them. Perhaps something for the management to consider.
Would I return? Absolutely! It’s a wonderful spot for a drink on a summer evening and the food certainly holds its own with the top contenders. Just a few tweaks could enhance the experience, such as not making guests feel like they might skip out on the bill and checking in a bit more during diners' stay. Also, diners shouldn’t have to ferry their own cutlery to the table.
I trust the owners will take these minor critiques in the spirit they are intended... :)

Charming little pub, one of the few remaining in the region. The food is top-notch and the beer on tap is always perfectly kept. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the beer garden, situated next to a delightful stroll around Bo'Ness foreshore, is definitely worth a gander. A lovely spot for a visit!

Had a jolly good time with mates at this charming pub, serving up scrumptious traditional fare at reasonable prices. The staff were delightful, and I shall certainly be returning. Cheers!
