I must say, this Asda store deserves a perfect ten stars if I could give them. Every time I visit, I receive top-notch customer service without fail. The staff is always so friendly and helpful, and they never seem bothered by any request. However, this morning, the customer service department truly exceeded all expectations. I was pleasantly surprised to find a little note accompanying my driving license, which I had unknowingly left in the store. I am immensely grateful to the Asda staff for taking the extra step to return it to me. Their exceptional service has left me truly impressed.
Russell Ortiz (01/09/2025, 19:03):
This Asda is an absolute disaster. The sell-by dates are completely unreliable, so you have to inspect every item to ensure it won't expire the next day. And good luck finding Scottish products; they seem more focused on promoting foreign foods like Polish items without any English translations on the labels. Their bakery is a joke too - no Scottish soda scones in sight, just subpar Irish fare that tastes dreadful.
Shirley Lewis (01/09/2025, 16:32):
The fresh produce is simply not up to scratch, and it seems like the majority of the staff are quite unfriendly and unwelcoming. It's about time management considers closing down this establishment and giving it a much-needed makeover.
Christopher Lopez (22/08/2025, 08:36):
The staff at this supermarket are absolutely brilliant! They are very helpful and courteous. I would highly recommend shopping here as they have a great selection of goods and food.
Brittany Fisher (21/08/2025, 00:19):
At all ASDA stores, you'll find a splendid array of products, excellent bang for your buck, top-notch quality, complimentary parking, seamless accessibility, amiable staff, and stellar customer service. They offer a diverse selection from around the globe, a tempting hot food counter, and convenient food-to-go options.
Anna Ramos (20/08/2025, 22:28):
Beware of this store, mate! The prices on the shelves don't match what they charge you at the register, they're pulling a fast one on ya. I just checked my receipt and a whopping 80% of the prices were higher than what was displayed on the shelves.
Zachary Kim (20/08/2025, 13:41):
The customer service is an absolute disgrace, it's as if the workers are running their own show and choose when they want to work. I was waiting for someone to come and sell me cigarettes, only to be told to wait until a certain time. So, I patiently waited, and when the guy finally showed up, he just said he wasn't doing it at that moment and walked away. Unbelievable!
Karen Peterson (17/08/2025, 19:26):
Absolutely dreadful, I must say. The items on the shelves were completely outdated. The whole place was a complete mess. The employees, elderly and untrained, were not only rude and ignorant but also quite verbally aggressive. They reeked of tobacco and were not even wearing face masks at the self-checkout. According to the signs at the entrance, it is mandatory to wear a face covering while inside the store in Scotland, isn't it? This establishment truly exemplifies poor management at its finest.
Sophia Nelson (16/08/2025, 00:29):
I bought some ASDA ink cartridges today and was disappointed to discover that both of them were faulty. The protective strips had disintegrated on both cartridges, making them unusable.

When I returned them to the store, the manager informed me that I could only exchange them for the same faulty cartridges, with no assurance that the replacements would work properly. Alternatively, I could pay £27.00 for a more reliable brand.

I felt that my inconvenience and frustration were not taken into consideration.

The customer service at this store is severely lacking 😤

Daniel Gonzales (15/08/2025, 23:20):
Extremely busy, not enough checkouts open. Some staff chatting away while customers are left waiting to be checked out. Definitely room for improvement in terms of customer service.
Albert Ward (14/08/2025, 05:48):
As a supermarket, this establishment is quite satisfactory overall. However, I would strongly advise against visiting their café. The quality of the food is quite poor and not worth the price. Consider this a cautionary tale – I certainly won't be returning to the café anytime soon.
Evelyn Hernandez (13/08/2025, 14:55):
Always well-stocked, however, most of the other shops in Blantyre town centre have closed down because of the high rates they charge. It's quite deserted, with only Asda and Greggs remaining. There's no competition around. The staff are friendly, but it's not a pleasant place to walk around at night. Cheers!
Bobby Jordan (12/08/2025, 19:47):
They really ought to sort out the staffing situation at the check-out counters. Not everyone fancies scanning and dealing with an automated check-out. It's abundantly clear when you see the long queues of folks waiting around because Asda seems all too keen on reducing the number of human staff at the tills. The absence of proper customer service in this regard really tarnishes the Asda shopping experience.
Jeremy Garcia (11/08/2025, 16:16):
I must say, I was rather disappointed to find out that the Supermarket is NOT open 24 hours as their listed opening times on ASDA.com and Google suggested. It seems that the management is too lazy to make the necessary corrections, as per the security guard I spoke to. Consequently, I feel compelled to leave a 1-star review as a token of my frustration at having my time wasted.
Benjamin Barnes (10/08/2025, 09:04):
Absolutely appalling. A few of the staff members are delightful, but the majority simply lack any motivation or concern. It truly baffles me how these individuals were hired, as their evident lack of interpersonal skills is quite concerning.
Jean Murphy (03/08/2025, 20:05):
The supermarket offers a fantastic variety of food items. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. You definitely get great value for your money when shopping here.
Jerry Kim (02/08/2025, 18:28):
I visited Asda Blantyre today and requested to use one of their disabled electric scooters, only to be informed that none of the 3 available in the store were operational. This situation, in my view, is quite absurd. Additionally, there was no seating provided for disabled and elderly customers. Their disabled service appears to be nonexistent. In comparison, Morrisons store offers a much better experience. I might consider altering my shopping practices!
Megan Diaz (01/08/2025, 11:08):
The click and collect service is not functioning properly.

I tried checking in on the app and waited, but no one showed up.

I called, but no one answered.

I had to go into the store and wait.

It would have been faster and easier to do the shopping myself.

Here is the order number as requested: 6192370000667.
Angela Hernandez (31/07/2025, 19:18):
No problem with the produce, but only 2 manned tills available, self-checkout with a long queue of 20 people, one staff member turning off red lights, and no baskets available for use. Also, pallets of produce blocking the aisles.
Mia Watson (27/07/2025, 19:59):
Disabled access toilets are available, however, they have recently started closing them at night due to vandalism. The staff is truly lovely and always willing to assist.
