Came to this place today and had a fantastic time! The play area is huge, there's free parking right outside and it's located on the Promenade. For just £6, you get 2 hours of play which is great value. Inside, there's an American-themed diner with some slightly pricey menu items, but they also offer meal and entrance packages. If you're in Ayr, this place is definitely worth a visit. Plus, there's a big play area outside too. 👍

Arr, me hearties! One of me daughters be workin' at Pirate Pete's, while meself, me other daughter, and me grandson be regular visitors. The little scallywag loves it there, and the staff be well-trained to keep a weather eye on the children as they play and be as friendly as can be. Aye, 'tis a grand place for young buccaneers to have a jolly good time!
Stephen Butler (15/06/2025, 15:08):
Absolutely splendid, scrumptious food, phenomenal staff, thoroughly enjoyed by myself and my family. Cheers!
Judy Hernandez (15/06/2025, 13:40):
My little one absolutely adored it during our visit - massive soft play area across multiple levels, and the grub was top-notch.
Bradley Gutierrez (12/06/2025, 17:52):
Took my 4 granddaughters to this children's amusement center and because they are all over 6 years old it cost me £40 to get in then there was the cost of snacks and juice which were a bit pricey, all in all there wasn't much left out of £100.00. This turned out to be a very costly outing as I won't be returning any time soon. If I do decide to come back, I'll bring only 2 grandkids at a time and opt for the pre-paid meal as I've heard it's the more budget-friendly choice. Personally, I don't believe it's worth the money as we were all ready to head home after 2 hours. So, be prepared with the cash as prices have gone up since lockdown.

What a fantastic spot for the wee ones! I have a 2-year-old and she could explore every nook of the soft play area. I accompanied her through the soft play and didn't encounter any inaccessible areas – I had a blast just as much as the little one, if not more! The staff were excellent. While we didn't dine, I enjoyed a cup of tea and some ice cream. The service was speedy, and they brought everything right to our table. Pirate Pete's truly elevated our wee holiday – thank you very much and keep up the great work. We hope to visit again soon!

Head over to the other side for the beer garden, it's absolutely lovely.
Kyle Evans (10/06/2025, 09:21):
What a fantastic spot! The Ice Cream is top-notch, and there's plenty of climbing fun for the little ones. And let's not forget about the stunning beach!
Jeffrey Bailey (09/06/2025, 19:25):
I jolly well booked a laser storm for my son's 11th birthday bash for him and 6 of his mates. It was absolutely smashing! The chap Lewis was a real gem with the lads, terribly helpful with everything from the nosh to even dressing up as the wolf towards the end and giving chase. They had a whale of a time, I tell you! The grub was top-notch too, and I must give a big thanks to Lewis and the other staff who rustled up our meals and looked after us. Cheers again!
Isabella Barnes (08/06/2025, 06:53):
I must say, I was rather let down by this establishment. The play area for the little ones was decent enough, but the dining experience left much to be desired. While the entrance fee was quite reasonable, it became evident that they were making up for it with their exorbitant food prices. Given the prime location, we initially expected the prices to be on the higher side, but the quality of the food did not justify it. To our dismay, the dishes arrived at our table cold and unappetizing. The hotdogs, in particular, had an odd hue and failed to meet our expectations. Needless to say, we barely touched our meals and decided to cut our visit short.
Walter Diaz (08/06/2025, 03:31):
What a fantastic spot for the little ones to burn off that excess energy! A lovely, pristine setting with delicious-looking food. 👍
Roger Barnes (06/06/2025, 23:51):
Most likely quite good, but upon our arrival, it was shut. The website stated it was open until 6, we arrived at 3 and it was indeed closed. We traveled for two hours to reach here, so not the most ideal situation. Kindly update your operating hours for future visits.
Jerry Thompson (04/06/2025, 00:17):
"Quite pricey, innit? And 'alf of the arcade machines weren't doling out tickets. Blimey! Our table got cleared while we stepped away, even though we weren't done yet! What a bummer!"
Ethan Graham (01/06/2025, 20:08):
What a fantastic discovery during our week-long holiday! We decided to take our three little ones to this children's amusement center for a few hours to let them release some energy. The space was massive, allowing the kids to roam freely and have a blast. We managed to feed our family of five for only £38, and the food was simply delightful! Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were very generous.
Gloria Jordan (01/06/2025, 13:01):
The staff here is top-notch, always so friendly and welcoming. They offer plenty of free events and even have face painting available. The food is of excellent quality and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is perfect for children to have a great time. Many thanks!
Kevin Rogers (31/05/2025, 17:31):
On my second visit, I noticed that the lentil and ham soup was only advertised as "lentil." This caused confusion as my son, who rarely eats meat, ended up consuming ham unknowingly. Despite being promised proper labeling after the last incident, it seems this issue persists.

This is actually my first negative review for any establishment, but I feel compelled to speak out in the hopes of preventing harm to those with allergies. Simply writing a "(v)" next to items on your menu that are vegetarian may not be sufficient, as customers like myself may not be aware of your internal processes. When we see "lentil," we assume it's just that – without any additional ingredients like ham.
Emily Foster (31/05/2025, 13:39):
Absolutely marvelous for the little ones! We happily shelled out £4 for a delightful 2-hour play session. And here's a little tip - if your kiddos are under 5 and haven't quite mastered walking yet, they get in for free! Cheers to a jolly good time at the children's amusement center.
Karen James (28/05/2025, 23:11):
My wee lass Halle celebrated her 8th birthday bash at this braw children's amusement center today, and the day was just pure magic! The staff were so courteous and helpful, couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much! 🎉❤️
Charlotte Roberts (28/05/2025, 11:54):
A bit on the steep side once the lovely weather makes an appearance, not exactly top-notch service from the staff, tables lacking in cleanliness, and portions leaving much to be desired given the hefty price tag. Quite taken aback that they're not charging for merely gazing around or taking a breath of the air.
Sara Cox (24/05/2025, 02:33):
The little ones absolutely adored this place! The indoor area is fantastic, and there's a huge park right outside. Plus, it's conveniently located next to the beach, which is a bonus. However, it can be a tad expensive for bigger families. The food is decent too.
