I recently attended a wine tasting event at the supermarket, and I must say it was quite enjoyable and well-attended! The selection of nibbles to go with the wine was also quite impressive. Kudos to Katie, Jemma, Cara, Catherine, and Darren for putting together such a fantastic event. I'm looking forward to coming back! Cheers!

I must say, I was quite shocked by the behavior of "some" of the checkout staff at Marks and Spencer's Braehead. It seems they have no issue with pricing "Sale" items incorrectly and then charging customers a higher price at the tills!
Recently, my partner and I bought two identical suits from the M&S sale section, only to discover that one of them was priced at the regular full price! When I brought this to the attention of the checkout staff and showed them the discrepancy between the sale ticket and the price charged by the automatic till, they promptly removed the item, stating it shouldn't have been on the sale rack in the first place.
I decided to cancel the transaction and continue my hunt for a bargain. Lo and behold, I stumbled upon another identical item on a different sale rack, once again with a lower price on the sale ticket. This time, we opted not to use the automated checkout.
When we pointed out the pricing error to the staff member, her response was, "Sale prices are at the checkout operator's discretion." I can't help but wonder if trading standards would agree if we were to show them two identical "Sale Items" with significantly different prices.
My advice to fellow shoppers at M&S is simple - BEWARE of their automated checkout system, and if you do use it, make sure to CHECK YOUR RECEIPT!

The food emporium boasts a splendid sushi counter that conveniently offers online ordering. It tends to get rather bustling during the weekends.

What a darling children's jumper! I reckon the little ones would absolutely adore sporting this jumper at my canine birthday bashes. I can hold the festivities at a variety of locations. Your pooch would have a grand ol' time with a reliable dog agility instructor. I work with suppliers who craft lovely celebration cakes and goodies. Your furry friend can even get pampered! Find me on Instagram abracadebra_events. Cheers!

The café itself is quite good, but the staff seem to lack diligence in clearing tables. Many customers sat at tables with trays and leftover food, which were then moved to be cleaned. It appears that more supervision is needed to ensure that COVID rules are being followed accordingly.

I availed meself of the bra fitting service at this M&S (I made an appointment online) and I must say, I 'ave nary a complaint. I was seen right on time, and me fitter, Roisin, was absolutely brilliant. She 'ad a wealth of knowledge and carried out 'er duties flawlessly. Much obliged, Roisin!
Ethan Gutierrez (27/06/2025, 06:21):
Impressive variety of grub and top-notch quality goods, I must say.
Sarah Lee (25/06/2025, 21:01):
I popped in for a spot of tea and a slice of cake with my granddaughter this morning, and I must say I was quite let down by the service. Once we were served our treats, we couldn't find a spotless table as they were all cluttered with dirty trays from previous guests. The place was in disarray, and despite our time there, no one came to clear the tables. This experience definitely deters me from returning; it appears they were severely understaffed to adequately cater to the public.
Scott Wright (24/06/2025, 10:41):
The staff at this supermarket are absolutely delightful! I was searching for a specific top and a lovely employee named Aileen went above and beyond to assist me. Not only was she incredibly helpful, but we also had a wonderful chat. A truly exceptional employee.
Stephen Richardson (23/06/2025, 02:06):
It's quite fascinating how many folks are drawn to shop here for its perceived prestige. M&S has made some minor tweaks to their marketing approach, yet they remain excessively pricey. However, it seems they're not too bothered, as the affluent crowd continues to fill their pockets.

While they once prided themselves on top-notch quality, these days you're shelling out a pretty penny for items readily available at Aldi or Lidl. The elite clientele doesn't seem fazed though. 🙄
Ronald Davis (20/06/2025, 20:09):
I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Ella at the restaurant. She is an absolute gem. Her warmth and attentiveness made our dining experience extra special. She truly embodies the spirit of the company.
Cheryl James (13/06/2025, 07:54):
One of M&S's larger stores, boasting a wide array of products ranging from furniture to household items like crockery, pots, pans, linen, and decor pieces. Alongside the extensive selection of adult and children's clothing, there is also a dedicated food and grocery section. Adding to the shopping experience are two cozy cafes and a charming wine bar. With convenient access from the ground and first floor car parks as well as within the shopping center itself, this sizeable M&S outlet exudes a more expansive ambiance compared to its counterparts.
Rose Kim (12/06/2025, 18:37):
The product selection at this massive supermarket branch is typically top-notch. However, it's a bit of a shame that there are a handful of employees here who give off the impression that you've somehow ruined their day just by walking in to do your shopping.
Austin Myers (11/06/2025, 12:31):
I was absolutely swamped due to a 20% discount offer. The checkout team was really helpful in resolving my credit card issue, despite a hiccup with the M&S credit card machine. Managed to tick off a good chunk of my Christmas shopping list though!
Deborah Kim (09/06/2025, 12:09):
One of the finest M and S establishments in the UK. It boasts a splendid array of food choices and apparel for all, as well as a well-stocked furniture and home goods section. With three diverse dining options to cater to every palate, it truly has something for everyone. Additionally, banking amenities can be found on the first floor, and patrons can seamlessly stroll through the rest of the Braehead Centre without being exposed to the elements. The personnel at this establishment consistently go above and beyond, embodying helpfulness, courtesy, and politeness towards customers—a true asset to M and S.
Eugene Baker (09/06/2025, 01:02):
I've 'ad a go at ringin' up abaht takin' back an item that got put in me bag by mistake. The blimin' phone system kept cuttin' me off. It's the most rubbish customer service I've ever come across.
Catherine Kim (08/06/2025, 18:34):
Today I was assisted by Phoebe in the lingerie section. I was returning a pajama set and she was incredibly helpful and had a constant smile on her face. The store was quite chilly, though.
Big thanks to Phoebe for her great service.
Leonard Garcia (08/06/2025, 08:21):
There's loads of parking, but the price tags are a bit tricky, and most of the grub is on the verge of expiring. I can't fathom why folks flock to this place for food that's all packed with salt and fat. Even their so-called low-fat options are far from healthy.
Danielle Morgan (07/06/2025, 04:02):
The supermarket was absolutely smashing, I must say! The place was tidy as a whistle and the staff were ever so jolly and helpful. Top-notch experience all around, I'd say! Cheers!
Amelia Brooks (06/06/2025, 23:26):
Decent-sized store, but navigating without assistance from staff can be tricky. Popular sizes tend to sell out quickly, so unless you're very small or large, shopping online might be the way to go. The food court is also quite spacious and offers a variety of pricey options. While quality often comes with a price tag, purchasing here is not necessarily worth it. Personally, I prefer buying vegetables from local greengrocers, meat from butchers, as the ingredients are superior, and you'll end up saving money as well.
