M & S Union Square has undergone quite the transformation since my last visit. They seem to have shifted their focus towards clothing, leaving behind the traditional range of pots, pans, kitchen utensils, towels, and bedding.

The food selection here is absolutely top-notch. I particularly appreciate the focus on high-quality, healthy options. However, I do wish there were more choices included in the meal deal, as it mostly consists of M&S own brand items. The staff members are exceptionally kind and friendly, and you never find yourself waiting long at the checkout. It's always a pleasant experience shopping here.

I recently visited the supermarket for a quick drink, and let me tell you, it was quite the experience. It appears to be a popular gathering spot for elderly ladies. Given that most other department stores have sadly closed, Mark's and Spencer has become the go-to destination, attracting crowds to both their store and restaurant.

However, my time there was far from peaceful. The ambiance was far too loud for my liking, with the staff noisily clattering cutlery and dishes around, and the older women chatting away at full volume simultaneously. It felt like I had been transported back to the bustling canteen of an old industrial factory, filled with lively chatter reminiscent of a group of fishwives.

I must say, M&S is a splendid place I frequent often, and the entire staff is simply delightful! On a recent visit, I mistakenly grabbed a pricier bottle of wine than my usual selection, but they handled the return effortlessly. Bruce was especially charming. Another time, as I was leaving, one of my bags gave way at the self-service checkout—quite embarrassing, I must admit—but they kindly provided me with a replacement at no cost. Such a thoughtful gesture! Kudos to M&S, it's always a pleasure shopping here.
