I must say, I was quite disappointed to find that your supermarket, which purportedly opens at 7am for early shopping, was in fact closed until 8am on Saturdays and Sundays. It would be best to update your website promptly, as it still indicates that the store is open at 7am on those days.
Samantha Rodriguez (04/06/2025, 15:39):
Great variety of drinks and food available at this supermarket.
Philip Anderson (02/06/2025, 10:28):
Quick parking, easy checkout. Picked up an extra double bed sheet for just £3.75 and I was in and out in a jiffy...absolutely love it.

Asda is a store I've always had a fondness for and frequently visited, it's one of my top grocery stores to shop at!
Susan Ramos (30/05/2025, 09:32):
Accessible via the 11 or 12 bus route, super convenient!
Joe Bennett (30/05/2025, 01:31):
I do declare, last Saturday morning, on the 8th of July, I sauntered into the cafeteria for a spot of breakfast. I indulged in a steaming cup of coffee and a black pudding roll, whilst my companion opted for a lorne sausage roll. Imagine my surprise when they informed me that they had run out of black pudding rolls! Off they scurried, likely to Greigs, to fetch more. Quite perplexing, as the place was not bustling with patrons. Eventually, they brought my roll to our table, with a gentle reminder to "take the rind off!" Lo and behold, not only did they deplete their stock of rolls, but they also served me one with the rind still intact! Oh, the audacity!

Asda offers cracking prices, a lovely team, a proper selection of breads, and top-notch fresh produce.
Carl Graham (24/05/2025, 21:54):
What a fantastic spot for a superstore. The car park is massive. You can shop, take a lovely stroll around the marina, dine at the nearby Italian restaurant, grab some fish and chips or ice cream for takeaway, or even hop on the ferry to Arran. It's not the biggest superstore, but it has all the essentials and then some. The staff may be a tad lacking in enthusiasm, but it's a tough gig. While it might appear a bit worn compared to other stores in the vicinity, it gets the job done.
Cheryl White (24/05/2025, 17:36):
Typical Asda experience. Had all the items we required. Tried out the scan & go feature, got picked for a random security check, and had only 1 employee assisting customers at the self-service checkouts while 3 other staff members stood around observing.
Andrew Sanchez (24/05/2025, 00:08):
The supermarket's website states that it opens at 7.00am on Sunday, but alas, it does not. What a wasted journey, an utter waste of time. They really must update their website promptly!
Charlotte Richardson (23/05/2025, 06:03):
I frequent this establishment often and while it may not offer as wide a selection as some of the bigger stores, that's to be expected. Its biggest strength lies in its wonderful staff. I've interacted with customer service multiple times and the employees there are always eager to assist and pleasant. The checkout staff are exceptionally friendly and consistently cheerful. Whenever I've needed help locating an item, I've been personally escorted there instead of receiving a vague aisle number (I'm talking to you, Tesco). Shopping there is always a delightful experience and I will happily remain a loyal customer.
Doris King (23/05/2025, 05:36):
I must say, this Asda store I visited was truly brilliant. The prices and deals were top-notch, and the selection of products was vast. What really stood out was the proactive and efficient helper at the self-service checkout – a rare find! They sorted out my transaction in no time. Top marks all around!
Evelyn Perry (23/05/2025, 02:15):
I've been trying to get in touch with someone at ASDA without much luck. It seems you can't reach anyone unless you have a specific extension number. I'm a regular shopper at ASDA, I go there at least twice a week. Today I accidentally left a 100-pack of cigarettes at the checkout and I can't inform the store about it. They really should update their automated voice system or provide extension numbers for direct assistance.
Ella Wright (22/05/2025, 11:26):
I do my grocery shopping early and am often compelled to use the self-service checkout. However, I must question the decision to station a surly, dour woman there to supervise. When I inquired about an item that wouldn't scan, she glared at me as if I were Jack the Ripper, snatching the item from my hands with rude impatience. Perhaps not a morning person? But there's no need to take it out on me.
Susan Sanders (22/05/2025, 00:46):
Here's a top tip for folks traveling to and from the ferry - they have really clean bathrooms and offer a fantastic breakfast at great prices!
Barbara Lewis (21/05/2025, 09:34):
I must say, the Asda in Ardrossan is quite lacking in their vegan product selection. I used to rely on finding Philadelphia spreading cheese muffins and no fish pieces, all vegan, but it's been months since they were last in stock. While I can find vegan options at the Irvine store, my mobility issues make it challenging for me to shop there regularly. It's disappointing because I depend on this store for my groceries. As a result, I'll be turning to Tesco online as they offer a wider range of choices. It's really tough to support your local store when they don't cater to your needs in the way you'd hope.
Dorothy Ross (21/05/2025, 07:45):
Managed to save £40 today on non-grocery items. I found myself waiting in line at the only open checkout, and boy did I wait. The cashier was working at lightning speed, but the line just wouldn't budge. Another person joined the queue behind me. And still, I waited. Eventually, I decided to abandon my basket and walk out. As much as I appreciate a good deal, my time is valuable too. No offense to Asda, but I prefer not to use self-checkout.
Dylan Flores (19/05/2025, 12:20):
I popped into the supermarket on Tuesday and received top-notch customer service from Calum at the self-checkout! He was incredibly helpful and I really appreciated it. It truly enhanced my shopping experience! I wish there were more like him in other stores!
Sarah Cook (19/05/2025, 11:36):
We do our weekly grocery shopping at this place, and let me tell you, the folks at the checkout are top-notch - they've got quite the memory for faces! The store is actually bigger than it looks from the outside and has a great variety of products to cater to different tastes. The book corner is quite convenient, and despite the limited space, the clothing section offers a decent selection. The overall vibe of the shop is pleasant, with cheerful staff at the registers always ready to lend a hand.
Eugene Perry (18/05/2025, 10:53):
So, there was this dodgy bloke right, he was proper stalking us just to drop £8.20 on some chocolate and crisps for his missus. We tried to shake him off in the aisles but he kept popping up again. Asda should really ban him, mate.
