I absolutely love popping into the Supermarket for a latte and a bite to eat at the on-site restaurant. The three expansive floors offer a wide array of options, from groceries to clothing, furniture, and more. Disappointing Experience with M&S Customer Service

As a dedicated patron of Marks & Spencer for o'er 30 years, I held higher expectations from a company that values quality and customer assistance. Sadly, my recent encounter hath left me sorely disheartened.

I procured frozen hake from their Collection range, only to find 'twas strongly scented of fish ere even cooking. Despite my initial reservations, I cooked it, which turned out to be an error. My dwelling was enveloped in an overpowering scent, and the fish was uneatable. My evening was spoilt, and I had to resort to ordering fare from outside.

When I reached out to M&S, I had hope they would taketh my concerns earnestly and provide a fair settlement. Though they did refund the cost of the fish and gave a small token of goodwill, I felt this did not adequately address the extent of the inconvenience caused. I wasn’t merely at a loss financially; I lost an entire evening and had to endure the task of ventilating my abode for days.

What vexes me most, however, is the dismissive tone of their final reply. After escalating my grievance, I was essentially informed that the matter was concluded and they would not entertain further discussion. This response felt distant and unhelpful, especially from a brand I have placed trust in for decades.

Marks & Spencer recently declared record revenue exceeding £13 billion, yet their handling of customer grievances such as mine seems distant from the "excellent customer service" they profess to provide. I anticipated more, not solely owing to my loyalty, but because this is the standard they pledge to all their customers.

This experience has rattled my confidence in M&S, and I trust they shall reassess their approach to customer complaints to ensure others doth not feel disregarded in a similar manner.

I must say, my recent visit to the supermarket was rather underwhelming. The limited availability of clothing in sizes 20/22 was quite disappointing. Despite making a substantial purchase of £150, I found it annoying to be asked if I wanted to buy a plastic bag for an additional 5p at the checkout. While I understand the law requires a charge for plastic bags, I would have appreciated the option of a paper bag instead. It seems the government's regulations can be quite overbearing at times. Overall, my shopping experience at M&S was not up to par, and I don't think I will be returning anytime soon.

One can always count on Markies. The food hall is situated downstairs, women's wear on the ground floor, and lingerie/nightwear on the first. I am quite fond of the beauty products from Marks and Spencer, and while the selection here is decent, it may not be the largest I've come across. The staff is friendly, and I typically find a sufficient number of cashiers during peak hours. The store is well-organized and doesn't feel too crowded.

Their clothing items are of excellent craftsmanship and superior quality. I originally stopped by in search of a pair of genuine leather boots for my granddaughter after exploring all the major stores on the main street. To my delight, I found the perfect pair of boots for her and even treated myself to a lovely dress. I'm so pleased I decided to visit this fine establishment.

M&S Food. A lot of people absolutely love the food there. However, in my opinion, it's even better now, especially during Advent as Christmas is approaching. There are so many new culinary experiences to try. Head and shoulders above other grocery stores in terms of quality. Although, it can be a bit pricey at times.

I had a lovely lunch at M&S. I enjoyed a tasty coffee and slice of cake, and there were plenty of seats to choose from. The baby facilities were good, although they were located at the other end of the store! The staff were very friendly, and I had a pleasant shopping experience where I was able to find a few small items that I needed.

I must say, my lunch experience was rather disappointing. I ordered a baked potato with chili avocado on top, only to find that half the plate was filled with grated carrots and red cabbage. The prices for the items on the menu were also quite steep. All in all, not a very satisfying meal.

I purchased a pair of boots from the Supermarket in November '22. It has only been 3 months since I bought them, and the "leather" on the right boot has already peeled off, and the soles of both boots are coming loose.

I want to emphasize that I have only worn them for regular street walking, and they are already falling apart.

I am extremely disappointed that I spent £60 on these boots, which are of such poor quality. I would advise avoiding this retailer altogether. The boots are cheaply made and very frustrating.

Just been discharged from hospital after a real tough spell with my nerve damage, and I've shed some pounds and need a bra fitting. Managed to schedule an appointment with the wonderful Patricia - she was just lovely and really knew her stuff when it came to finding the right sizes for me. Spent a good 2 hours exploring different styles and sizes of bras, she was so patient and clearly loved what she was doing. So grateful for all her help! Ended up purchasing a few delightful bras and matching panties, I'm over the moon and just wanted to express my thanks once again for all your assistance. Will definitely be coming back. xx

I do really like M & S, you know? Been going there since I was a nipper, must've been 10 at the time. Now I'm a ripe old 65, can you believe it? Used to graft there too, back in the day. Argyle St, that's the big one in the heart of the city, mate. Got all kinds of gear there, especially for the gaff - homeware galore, I tell ya. And the Food Hall, top-notch for stocking up on treats before Christmas comes around.

I absolutely adore Marks and Spencers, don't we all? It can be a bit pricey, so I always keep an eye out for their special deals. They truly have something for everyone. I adore the food they offer at the food court, although it can be quite costly. I reserve it for special occasions only. There are so many things here that are out of my price range, but a girl can dream!

Honestly, Supermarket isn't really my thing, but the missus insists on dragging me there for some shopping. It's just your average High Street store in Glasgow that could use a bit of a spruce up.
